The concept of the hotel's design is "Hokkaido's nature." Natural materials (brick and wood) from Hokkaido were used throughout the hotel. Various types of guestrooms (116) and public spaces were designed to match the woods surrounding the hotel. The combination creates the perfect atmosphere for any occasion: business, sightseeing, weddings or meetings.

   Other facilities that guests can enjoy are bathing indoors or outdoors in rare peat hot spring water, restaurants that serve dishes made of fresh ingredients from Tokachi and Hokkaido, "The Church in the Forest," and a multi-purpose hall, that can hold up to 1,000 people.

   In an annual survey conducted by the JTB travel agency, Hokkaido Hotel is always ranked as one of the top hotels in Hokkaido. Hokkaido Hotel is Hokkaido's signature hotel to people inside and outside of the island.
